Goals for Building the New Church

To Promote the Church Functions:

Worship
"Everyday they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved." (Acts 2:46-47)

Preaching the Gospel
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spriti,..." (Matthew 28:19)

Teaching
"...and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." (Matthew 28:20)

Fellowship
"Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of the bread and to prayer." (Acts 2:41-42)

Service
"...just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." (Matthew 20:28)
